Mickey Wright Signed World Golf Hall of Fame Logo Golf Ball
The late Mickey Wright dominated the LPGA tour in the late 1950's and 1960's, being inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1967. Ben Hogan once was quoted as saying Wright had "the finest swing i ever saw." This domination was so complete that the Associated Press named her the Female Athlete of the Year in both 1963 and 1964. Mickey Wright notched the Women's career grand slam on the way to her 13 Major titles (second all-time to Patty Berg). During the 2000's both Golf Digest and Golf Magazine ranked Wright as the Top Woman Player of All-Time. Offered here is an autographed World Golf Hall of Fame golf ball in black sharpie that Mickey has penned with a perfect "10" signature strength inking and in close proximity to the logo. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their certificate of authentication #CC45238 comes with this lot.
