This offering contains Harvey Penick Signed 1933 Ryder Cup Team Member Ballot - 12/29/32. His vote of course was counted as the then President of the Texas PGA. Penick's impact on the game of golf is far reaching, through best-selling literature, teaching and developing the game of golf. In one of The Masters most memorable moments, pupil and fellow Texan Ben Crenshaw won the 1995 Masters stating afterwords in the emotional victory "I had a 15th club in my bag", referring to Penick. World Golf Hall of Famer Harvey Penick was a golf professional and coach, who coached many Hall of Fame players. Penick signed this ballot flawlessly in pencil. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
