Jamie Anderson Long Nose Driver with Lambskin Grip - 44”

Here is the product of renown St Andrews clubmaker Jamie Anderson. Anderson produced a successful playing career as he won the Open Championship on three occasions, all consecutive from 1877 until 1879. This Jamie Anderson long nose driver is 44” from the heel of the club to the top of the grip. The club head is 4 1/2" long, 1 1/8" thick and 2" wide. This dark wood club presents well, as it was preserved in very good condition. There is only minor wear on head, some on grip. An inventory number was written on the club's sole. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.
