Early 1930's Columbus Country Club of Ohio Irrigation Plan Photo - Wendell Miller Collection

This never before offered 8 1/2 x 11 image is of an early 1930's Columbus Country Club of Ohio irrigation plan from engineer in charge of this course as well as Augusta National Golf Club, and a host of others, Wendell P. Miller. This image has been stored in the files of the Miller family for over 85 years. It cries out for ownership by the finest photo libraries or collections of golf history as an emphasis. The photo's reverse includes an ink notation about the photograph, explaining its drainage of 30,000 feet and why the course was never playable before the middle of May. The photo is in good condition, with little discoloration and signs of usage on three ring binder hole punches. Letter of provenance from the family of Wendell P. Miller comes with this lot.
