Dai Rees 1947 Handwritten Signed Letter
In time-period ink, this 1947 Dai Rees hand-written and signed letter was penned by the British Ryder Cup legend on his hotel letterhead. Playing in nine Ryder Cups and Captaining five others, 1957 was perhaps his favorite of those matches. This year's Ryder Cup saw the British Team at Lindrick defeat the Americans 7 1/2 to 4 1/2 for their first victory since 1933. Rees inscribed Gt. Britain below his signature. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their auction letter of authentication comes with this lot.
