Paul Azinger was proclaimed the master motivator as he captained the 2008 United States Ryder Cup team to a 16 1/2-11 1/2 triumph over team Europe. Offered in this lot are a pair of his size spikes showing significant match use, and still displaying the shoe shine tag in the heel of shoe from the Memorial Tournament. Azinger has clearly signed the spikes in black sharpie adding the inscription in his own hand "Ryder Cup Captain 2008". JSA has reviewed this autograph and provides their letter of authenticity with this lot. Shoe size is 11 1/2.
