1916 'The Upkeep of Golf Courses in the Chicago District' Booklet - Chicago District Golf Assoc.
Over 55 pages this 1916 copy of 'The Upkeep of Golf Courses in the Chicago District' was produced by the Green Committee of the Chicago District Golf Association and printed by local publisher A.C. McClurg & Co.It covers in detail the committee's thoughts on soil, drainage, seed and many other aspects of constructing a golfing green of the highest quality. Subjects include preparation of the green for the cold winter months that cities such as Chicago endure. The book is in very good condition, with slight aging on the binding, cover and edging. A letter of from PGA Historian Bob Denney will accompany this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval). 1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
