1927 PGA Championship at Cedar Crest CC 4th Day Ticket - Walter Hagen Win - Rare
During the match play event, Walter Hagen defeated Joe Turnesa to win his fourth consecutive PGA Championship in 1927 at Cedar Crest CC in Dallas, Texas. This ticket has its original string still intact and is in very good condition, with minor creasing and water damage on top corners. This 4th day ticket is rare and from a defining moment in Walter Hagen's career, adding to its significant appeal. The tournament marked Hagen's last PGA Championship and 9th of an incredible 11 major titles. Few of these series tickets are still around, with this being a rare offering to the public. The tickets dimensions are 2 1/4" by 3 1/2."
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, September 15th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
