Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, & Gary Player 'Big 3' Signed Golf Balls
With 34 combined major championships and dominance over the sport in the 1960s and 1970s, these golfers earned the title 'Big Three' in the sport. The marketable group of golfers all come from different backgrounds and used their personalities and competitive spirits to capture the golf world. Vibrant black sharpie signatures from the dominate triumvirate of Arnold Palmer, Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus adorn these golf balls. These three combined to dominate for four decades at the Masters piling up 13 wins there from 1958-1986. Jack Nicklaus signed a classic Masters logo ball, Player left his name on a Titleist logo ball and Palmer signed one of his umbrella logo Bay Hill Club balls. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature and their certificate of authenticity #Z91306 (FULL), #Z91307 (FULL), #EE96337 comes with this lot.
The Golf Auction will be on site this Tuesday through Sunday (July 31st - August 4th) at the 2019 National Sports Collectors Convention in Rosemont, Il. We will be accepting consignments, performing appraisals, and accepting bids. Stop by and say hello! We will be in Booth #1018
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, August 4th with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
