Jack Nicklaus Signed 1963 Masters Color Photo w/ Palmer

The 1963 Masters saw the 23 year old Jack Nicklaus win his first title at Augusta, defeating Tony Lema by one stroke. The Golden Bear sunk a 3 foot putt on the final hole to secure the victory. This 8" by 10" photo of the champions jacket ceremony with Arnold Palmer being the previous winner comes signed by the victor, Nicklaus. They started as competitors and ended up friends over many decades of golf. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their certificate of authenticity #CC81266 will come with this lot.
