Tiger Woods & Payne Stewart Signed 1999 US Open Flag & Picture Presentation
The 1999 US Open marked the last major vicotry for Payne Stewart, as Stewart passed away later that year in an unfortunate plane accident. Included in this patriotic 1999 US Open presentation are three signed components. The first is a field signed flag with Tiger Woods leaving his name in black sharpie in the middle or the flag. Secondly there is a Payne Stewart signed photo with a flawless black sharpie signature across his chest in the center of the photo. Below those signed items is a Francis Ouimet signed first day cover cachet by former US Open champions Gene Sarazen, Tom Kite, Julius Boros, Byron Nelson, Jack Fleck and Cary Middlecoff. Bordering these signed items in the golden adorned frame are the United States stars and stripes. Included on the field signed 1999 US Open flag are golfers Phil Mickelson, Nick Faldo, Mark O' Meara and Fred Couples among others. The full presentation measures 33" by 40 1/2".James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures on this piece and an auction letter of authenticity is included with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
