2006 Ryder Cup Booklet of Postage Stamps Including of the Lenticular Variety
2006 marked the first time the Ryder Cup was played in Ireland. The European team took advantage of home course advantage, beating the US team 18 1/2 to 9 1/2. This booklet includes 12 postage stamps of a golf ball adorned by a shamrock and the 2006 Ryder Cup logo, six postage stamps of European Ryder cup legends (Darren Clarke, Paul McGinley, Padraig Harrington, Harry Bradshaw, Ronan Rafferty, Cristy O' Connor Sr., Eamonn Darcy, Christy O' Connor Jr. and Phillip Walton), 2 postage stamps of the k Club Clubhouse, details regarding the K club course holes and 2 lenticular action shots of a golf ball being hit. The booklet is dual language throughout.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
