Arnold Palmer Signed 'Golf's Enduring Hero' USGA Exhibit Invitation - 1994
Palmer was honored, and rightfully so, by the USGA for his contributions to the game of golf through an exhibit in 1994 titled 'Golf's Enduring Hero.' This lot includes a black sharpie signature from Palmer on the invitation for the opening of this exhibit. 'The King' Arnold Palmer needs no introduction. He took the golf world by storm in the 1960's and 70's. He won four Masters Tournaments (1958, 1960, 1962, and 1964) and earned 62 PGA Tour and ten Senior PGA tournament victories, and seven total Major championships. Beloved by all, this golf legend signed this 5 1/2" by 7 1/2." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
