Ben Hogan Signed World War II Recruitment Deptiction


Ben Hogan is predominately known for his reputation surrounding the golf community. During Hogan's prime years of 1938 through 1959, he won 63 professional golf tournaments. In that time period, his career was put on hold by World War II. Hogan served in the U.S. Army Air Forces from March 1943 to June 1945; he was stationed at Fort Worth, Texas, and became a utility pilot with the rank of lieutenant. This lot features a World War II Enlistment Depiction and is signed by Ben Hogan. The measurements of this piece are 7 3/4" by 11." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:


This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, June 16th (Father's Day) with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
