Ray Floyd Signed Five Scorecards - Conway, Kiawah(x2), Southern Hills, & Shinnecock
Raymond Floyd was professional golfer who has won numerous tournaments on both the PGA Tour and Senior PGA Tour, including four majors and three senior majors. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1989. Some of his most impressive accomplishments included A few weeks shy of age 40, Floyd shot an opening round 63 (-7) and led wire-to-wire to secure the third of his four major titles Southern Hills 63 in 1982. Then in 1986 Floyd won the Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club. Finally, a story still talked about today is the 'War on the Shore'. Floyd earned a spot on the 1991 Ryder Cup team on Kiawah Island, The Ocean Course. The competition went down to the last put when Langer missed his putt wide right that gave USA the win. Listed in this lot are four signed score cards from courses that are significant in the life of Ray Floyd. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, April 14th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
