1950 Masters Tournament Spectator Guide - Jimmy Demaret Winner
One of the great innovations to come out of the Masters Tournament is the Spectator Guide which the Augusta National began providing their patrons in the late 1940's. Contained in the Spec. Guide you will find the thoughts of Bobby Jones on the event which was his brainchild, along with a detailed history of the Masters happenings and results. This item ranks as the second oldest Masters spectator guide that we at The Golf Auction have ever offered. The spectator guide run is a staple of Masters collecting similar to tickets/badges, and the early examples like this 1950 are not easy to locate. Condition of this guide is very good, with a couple marks on the cover and a rounded upper right-hand corner. This relic of competition at golfs highest level comes directly from the PGA where it has resided for over 75 years. From the collection of PGA REACH, with a certificate of authenticity accompanying this lot.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, April 14th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
