Vintage Harold H. Hilton Signed Card with 'Hoylake' Notation

With one of the best resumes in golf at the time, Harold Hilton passed away in 1942. Hilton held up the trophy at The Open Championship twice, The Amateur Championship (British) four times and the United States Amateur once. In the year 1911 Harold Hilton won both the British and US Amateurs, making him the only British player to win them both in the same year. Hilton's signature is not a common one and includes the inscription 'Hoylake,' his home course. It measures 7 1/4" x 4 3/4." James Spence Authentication (JSA)has reviewed this signature, and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.
