Arnold Palmer Signed 1989 AGW Dinner Program with Green Jackets - R&A
This Association of Golf Writers dinner menu from 1989 at Royal Troon is quite a unique piece as it is one of the very few produced items depicting images from Augusta National and The Masters in association with the R&A and Open Championship, not to mention Arnold Palmer. Arnold Palmer left his with black ballpoint pen on the first page near his name. Among Arnold, the cover includes caricature depictions of fellow green jacket recipients Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo, Bernhard Langer and another champion. There is white-out covering two notations inside the menu, one noting who will be presenting the Golf Writers Trophy, and the other is who received the honor in 1988. The AGW dinner program measures out to 7" x 10." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, April 14th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
