Chandler Egan 1904 & 1905 US Amateur Champion Signed Cut

Only a handful of golfers have been able to defend their title at the US Amateur Championship. Preceding Tiger Woods, Bobby Jones joining this group was Chandler Egan in 1905. A Harvard man, Egan found success early in his career. The University took the Team NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championships from 1902 until 1904, with Egan winning the individual tournament in 1902. The cut measures 2 1/8" x 3 1/2." James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this signature, and their auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot.

All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
