Mike Brady (2x US Open Runner-Up 1911 & 1919) Multi-Depth Cardboard Counter Golfer Display

Mike Brady is best known for falling in defeat to Walter Hagen in the in a play-off in 1919 US Open. He was so well respected in the golf community that once Hagen resigned as Oakland Hills Country Club pro after winning that US Open, the club then took Brady to replace him. In this cardboard cut-out photo of golfer Mike Brady is positioned in front of a tree-lined course possibly before teeing off. It stands up on a black wood base, stands 12" tall x 10" wide. Good condition, and has some climate stains. This relic of competition at golfs highest level comes directly from the PGA where it has resided for over 75 years. From the collection of PGA REACH, with a certificate of authenticity accompanying this lot.

This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, April 14th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
