Official Augusta National Golf Club 1955 Sarazen Bridge Dedication Ceremony Map Layout

The Sarazen Bridge marks Gene Sarazen’s double eagle on the 15th hole in the final round of the Masters in 1935. It enabled him to tie Craig Wood, and Sarazen prevailed the next day in the tournament’s only 36-hole playoff. Augusta National unveiled the Sarazen Bridge on Wednesday, April 6, 1955. It was designed by Augusta architect H. Lowrey Stulb, and it is located to the left of the pond fronting the 15th green. The flat footbridge was dedicated in 1955 to commemorate Sarazen’s “Shot Heard ’Round the World.” Frame measures 12" x 15" and bears this official paperwork distributed by the Augusta National for the ceremony. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)

1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
