1933 PGA Championship @ Blue Mound C.C. Contestant Badge - Gene Sarazen Winner - Near Mint W/Seldom Seen Original Packaging!
Made by Balfour with that company's original cardboard backing and in original packet. (EXTREMELY RARE TO FIND THESE INTACT). The 16th PGA Championship, then still in match play format, was won by Gene Sarazen. He earned his third PGA Championship in 1933 by beating Willie Goggin 5&4. It was also the sixth of his seven total major titles. This lot presents a 1933 PGA Championship contestant badge in Near Mint condition, with very clean front enamel only flaw appears as oxidation on the verso of this pin which measures 1" x 1". From the collection of PGA Reach, with their certificate of authenticity accompanying this lot.

AUCTION CLOSING RULES:
This auction will end at 9:00pm EST Sunday, March 3rd, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items that have received multiple bids in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period (at 10pm EST, the countdown clock will be adjusted to a 5 minute interval)
1. You must place your initial bids BEFORE extended bidding begins in order to bid on the item in extended bidding
2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on.
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
