Royal Doulton Golf Plate 'Every Dog Has His Day, And Every Man His Hour'

Here we have a Royal Doulton dinner plate that measures 10 1/4" in diameter and is in great condition. This plate features the illustration "Every dog has his day, and every man his hour".

The Doulton family started making stoneware goods (tableware, pipes, and sanitary fittings) in 1815, later enlisting local artists and art students to design the incredibly popular pieces. Doulton was granted the Royal Warrant in 1901 by King Edward VII, and continues to make fine glassware to this day, now a part of the Waterford Wedgwood family.

2. During extended bidding, you are allowed to bid only on items you PREVIOUSLY placed a bid on
3. All lots that are active in extended bidding will close at the same time, and those with only ONE or NO BIDS will close at 9pm EST
