Harold Lee 'Jug' McSpaden Signed 8x10 J.A. (Jimmie) Dodd Photo
It is seldom that you see a playing days photo of Jugs McSpaden who went on to be one of the early ceremonial first shot hitters at the Masters. "Jugs" is best known as Byran Nelson's partner in numerous four ball events. He was named to the United States Ryder Cup teams of 1939 and 1941, but these were not contested due to WWII. A classic original photo from the camera of Jimmie Dodd noted PGA photographer from Kingsville, Texas, dated 1945 with Dodd stamping on reverse of photo. The 8x10 and blue ink signature present at a pure unimprovable 10/10 plateau.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
