Craig Wood(D-1968) Signed Cut- 2nd Toughest Masters Champ Autograph

Here is the opportunity to cross one of the most difficult of past Masters Champions autographs off your wish list, and for that matter one of the toughest modern era U.S. Open champs as he followed his Masters win in '41 by also claiming the second Major of the year. This cut signature signed in steel tip fountain pen comes from Craig Wood who was the winner of the 8th Masters which was contested in 1941,and with his passing in 1968, long before the Masters autograph craze hit the market, makes for a challenging autograph to obtain. Regarded as the second hardest of past champs trailing only the 1948 winner Claude Harmon in difficulty of acquisition. James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed this autograph of Craig Wood, and their letter of authenticity as pictured with this lot description comes with this signature.
