Tom Watson Signed Muirfield '1744' Embroidered Flag with '1980' Notation
Presented here for bidders is an embroidered Muirfield 1744 flag signed by Tom Watson. Watson also noted the year he won at Muirfield, 1980. Highly presentable flag and signature. The Hall of Famer won eight Majors over his career to place him 6th on the all-time career Major list. Victorious a record 5 times at The Open Championship, the Muirfield logo golf ball here is from his 3rd Open title, defeating Lee Trevino by four strokes.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
