Lee Trevino Signed 1968 US Open Championship at Oak Hill CC Program
Offered here is a 1968 US Open at Oak Hill Country Club program signed by the winner Lee Trevino. Condition notes for accuracy are paperloss near the bottom left front cover, a large crease to the top right, bent corners, scuffs to the back, and the covers are separated at the bottom of the spine. Please see photographs. Not only was this Trevino's first Major victory, but it was also his first PGA Tour win as well. What an introduction for Super Mex! The East Course of Oak Hill Country Club hosted the tournament which saw Trevino equal the tournament scoring record and finish 4 strokes ahead of the runner-up, Jack Nicklaus.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
