MacGregor Driver with Shaft Stamp - Dayton, Ohio - W. W. Initials
John MacGregor and Edward Canby joined forces in 1896 to form "Crawford, MacGregor, & Canby." They became the first American manufacturer of golf clubs. In the 1930's the company was acquired by the Goldsmith Company and shortly there after became just MacGregor. A MacGregor driver is offered here for bidders. It features a MacGregor shaft stamp and shows wear to the head and hosel, please see photographs. Measures 43 1/2" to the heel.
