Roberto De Vicenzo Signed Envelope - Sigurd Berg Collection - PSA Slabbed
Opportunities for United States autograph collectors have been few and far between to obtain the signature of World Golf Hall of Famer Roberto De Vicenzo. The Argentinian's notable victory was at 1967 British Open, where he won by two shots over Jack Nicklaus. Following his playing career, Vicenzo seldom traveled to the States from his native Argentina, and sadly he passed away in June 2017. Here de Vicenzo left his signature on an envelope that is PSA #83976723. This comes from the collection of Sigurd Berg, a collector from the 1940's to 1970's who would mail self-addressed stamped envelopes to sports stars for them to drop back in the mail. The post marks and stamps further add to the appeal of Berg's collection.
