1961 Arnold Palmer vs Jay Hebert PGA National Golf Week Medal and Booklet
In 1952 the PGA founded National Golf Day, a day to celebrate and enjoy the game of golf. To this day, National Golf day is an opportunity for golf industry leaders to meet with members of Congress, the Executive Branch and federal agencies to discuss the game's nearly $70 billion economy, $4 billion annual charitable impact, and many environmental and fitness benefits. A medal and booklet from the 1961 golf week that has the likenesses of Arnold Palmer and Jay Hebert on the cover are offered here. The booklet shows a horizontal crease, otherwise in good condition. Medal has a 1" diameter, booklet measures 2 1/2" x 3 1/4"
