Two Jack Nicklaus Signed 2000 US Open at Pebble Beach Ltd Ed Cachets
Amazing as it may seem, the United States Post Office has a branch that is right off the putting green at Pebble Beach, adjacent to the shops which border this green. A perfect promotional venture was to have the Postal Service produce a stamped cachet 'Salutes the Golden Bear' for the event. The artwork of the oceanside course depicted on this envelope is from the brush of noted sports artist Armando Delgado. He has signed the cachet. As if the signature of the artist is not special enough, an added bonus to this brightly colored commemorative of the 100th U.S. Open is that Jack has hand signed in black Sharpie as well. The cachets measure 9 1/2" x 4".
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signatures and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, there is a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
