Sam Snead Signed June 10, 1976 Personal Check
Presented here is a personal check signed by Sam Snead. Sam Snead won more tournaments on the PGA Tour than any other golfer with 82, including seven major championships. Snead finished as a runner-up at the U.S. Open four times, and a win would have put him in the class with Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods, Ben Hogan, Gene Sarazen, and Walter Hagen as the only golfers to complete the career Grand Slam in the post-Masters era. Snead signed the check "Samuel J. Snead," his legal signature.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
