Original Bobby Jones Photo on Scrapbook Page with Craig Wood/Harry Cooper on Reverse
Offered here is a scrapbook page featuring three golfers - Bobby Jones, Craig Wood, and Harry Cooper. Bobby Jones is known as the greatest amateur golfer of all time, winning 13 Majors in his relatively short career, and bringing to life Augusta National, and with it the Masters Tournament.
Craig Wood, with his 1941 US Open triumph on the heels of his 1941 Masters win, became the first player to capture the first two legs of the modern grand slam in the same year (since joined by Hogan, Palmer, Nicklaus, Woods and Spieth).
Harry "Lighthorse" Cooper was an English-American golfer who was considered one of the best to never win a Major tournament, despite winning 31 times on the PGA Tour.
Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, April 15th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow.
