Chicago Golf Club hosted the 1928 Walker Cup that saw the Bobby Jones led American team defeat the Great Britain and Ireland team 11 to 1. Offered here is the cover to the September 15, 1928 Mid Week Pictorial in good condition. Jones and the opposing captain William Tweddell are shown on the cover shaking hands in front of the Walker Cup trophy.
