Ben Hogan 1948 Signed/Personalized G.P.C. - Valued Item in this Seldom Seen Format
A 1948 government post card signed by Ben Hogan is offered here for bidders. Hogan signed nicely in black ink as follows:
"Roy Pitts with best and kindest regards
Ben Hogan"
It comes in excellent plus condition with the original post office stamps and markings showing a return address from Hogan's Fort Worth, Texas home post office. Highly presentable, pre-accident penning from a most significant career year for Ben that saw him claim U.S. Open and PGA Championships on his way to Vardon Trophy and PGA Player of the Year honors.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
