Steve Jones was able to make the comeback from shoulder, ankle, and finger injuries to claim the 1996 US Open at Oakland Hills. Offered here is a limited edition #754/850 Linda Hartough print commemorating the 16th hole at Oakland Hills. The print measures 31" x 20 1/2", is not framed, and is signed by the artist and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
Linda Hartough is recognized as one of golf's leading artists, her attention to detail and incredibly realistic style earning her quite a prominent following. She is the only artist ever commissioned by the USGA and the R & A to do the official annual paintings and prints for their respective Open Championships. She has captured the beauty of golf courses across the globe and her works have a home in prestigious clubs like Augusta and Pine Valley, and in the personal collections of legends like Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones.
