1997 Ltd Ed US Open at Congressional 17th Hole AP Signed by Artist Linda Hartough 43/85 with COA
Ernie Els shot a 276 at Congressional to defeat Colin Montgomerie at the 1997 US Open. Presented here is a limited edition #43/85 artists proof signed by the artist Linda Hartough. The print commemorates the 17th hole at Congressional Country Club. It measures 31" x 20 1/2", is not framed, and comes with a letter of authenticity.
Linda Hartough is recognized as one of golf's leading artists, her attention to detail and incredibly realistic style earning her quite a prominent following. She is the only artist ever commissioned by the USGA and the R & A to do the official annual paintings and prints for their respective Open Championships. She has captured the beauty of golf courses across the globe and her works have a home in prestigious clubs like Augusta and Pine Valley, and in the personal collections of legends like Jack Nicklaus and Robert Trent Jones.
