1966 PGA Championship at Firestone Hardbound Program - Warren Orlick Name on Cover
The 1966 PGA Championship was held at Firestone Country Club because the original site at Columbine C.C. sustained damage from a flash flood. It was the site of Al Geiberger's only Major championship. There is also a solemn memory that accompanies this championship. A few hours after competing in the tournament, Tony Lema along with his wife and two pilots perished as they attempted an emergency landing en route to Illinois. This lot presents a hard bound program from that tournament in good condition with only minor wear apparent.

All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period. Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
