Two Professional Photographs of J. H. Taylor and His Family
Offered here are two professional photographs of J. H. Taylor and his family. The photographs measure 10" x 14" and appear to be from a wedding. John Henry Taylor was an English golfer who along with Harry Vardon and James Braid dominated British golf at the turn of the 20th century, earning them the nickname the "Great Triumvirate." Taylor won five Open Championships (1894, 1895, 1900, 1909, 1913) and was runner-up to Vardon at the 1900 U.S. Open.
