Phil Mickelson Center Signed 2006 Masters Flag - Only Known With Phil's 3 Wins at Augusta Notated
Phil Mickelson has five career Major victories. Three of Mickelson's Major titles came in Augusta at the Masters Tournament in 2004, 2006, and 2010. Offered here is an embroidered 2006 Masters flag that Lefty signed like none other ('10") in the center of the Masters logo. Adding to the appeal of this particular flag, is the first known example we have seen that Mickelson also inscribed the years he won under the Masters logo. A special recipient must have received this bold, black sharpie notated flag from the Hall of Famer as Phil is known as a great autograph signer for his fans, but he just does not add additional penmanship to his signatures. Preferring to sign as many autographs as he can for the assembled huge crowds which flock to him.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has extensively reviewed their signature files on Phil and although they do not have another similar signed and notated flag have found through other examples of Mickelson forming numbers that this is a match for his numeral formation. Their full auction letter of authenticity comes with this lot #Z76604, and states that the signature and notation is fully signed in Phil Mickelson's hand. Best of the Best for the Lefty fan, presents like none other known.
