Gary Player Signed 1974 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes Program

Offered here is a program from the 1974 Open Championship at Royal Lytham & St. Annes. Gary Player claimed his third Open title over Peter Oosterhuis in second place and Jack Nicklaus in third. This program is in good condition, some creasing and wear evident to both front and back covers. Player left his signature on the front cover in black marker. Player was a member of the Big Three, along with Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The Big Three are credited for bringing the sport to the height of popularity during the early television era.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: This auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, March 4th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow.
