Bill Rogers Signed 1982 Open Championship at Royal Troon Program
Offered here is a program from the 1982 Open Championship at Royal Troon signed by Bill Rogers, the previous years winner and cover subject of this program. His signature comes in black ink, boldly. Rogers won the 1981 contest by 4 strokes over Bernhard Langer, but would be unable to defend his title, finishing the 1982 contest tied for 22nd place, with Tom Watson claiming the Claret Jug. This program is in good condition, the front and back covers showing some wear.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
