Thistle Patent Steel Socket Putter - Gun Metal Head with Steel Hosel & Bamboo Shaft

Offered here is a Thistle patented steel socket putter. Bussey & Co. made the patent in the 1890's. Charles Millar of Glasgow produced clubs as the Thistle Golf Company until he moved to Canada in the 1920's. The putter comes with a gun metal head, a steel hosel, and a bamboo shaft with a paddle-like grip. The putter measures 33 1/2" from heel to end and comes in great condition.
