1961 Western Open at Blythefield CC Program - Arnold Palmer Winner
Held at Blythefield Country Club, this notorious tournament saw 'The King' Arnold Palmer claim his first victory at the Western Open. Not only was this his first Western Open victory, but it was ahead of runner-up 'Slammin' Sam Snead. This was a rare sight to see, Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead finishing at positions one and two in the same tournament. This program shows staining throughout the cover, though it will still add nicely to any collection.
Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.
Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
