Gene Sarazen Signed 1994 Sarazen World Open Program

The Sarazen World Open was an unofficial event from 1994 until 1999. The field consisted largely of national open winners from around the world. Ernie Else was victorious in the inaugural event, defeating Fred Funk. Presented here is a program from the 1994 event, signed by the cover subject and namesake of the event, Gene Sarazen. Sarazen signed in black marker, and left the year "1994."

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
