Gary Player Signed FDC with Lightpath Long Island Contestant Badge

The Lightpath Long Island Classic was a stop on the Senior/Champions Tours from 1987 through 2008. Gary Player claimed the title in 1998, leading to this commemorative FDC in 1999. Player left his signature on the cachet in black marker. Also included is a contestant badge from the 1991 contest. George Archer was the only one able to claim the title three times, coming in 1990, 1991, and 1992.

James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.

Please note: Our bidders have spoken, and we have listened to their wishes. With that in mind, this auction will end at 5:00pm EST on Sunday, January 28th, with EXTENDED BIDDING to follow. All items in the auction will remain open until no items have received a bid within a 15 minute time period.

Still the lowest rate among major golf auction houses, a buyer's premium of 17.5% for all items is now in effect. All lots are free to be bid on until extended bidding has ended.
