George Nicoll Hand Forged 4 Iron - Scotland - Hand Stamp
George Nicoll was a blacksmith by trade, and in the 1880s he started making hand forged irons. Well known golfers such as Henry Cotton, Brian Huggett, Dai Rees, and Vivien Saunders used his clubs. The Nicoll family distributed the clubs worldwide until 1982, owned now by St Andrews Golf Company. This lot features a 4 iron by Nicoll that measures 33 1/2" from bottom of whipping to end. Please see photos for condition.
