Gary Player Signed 1968 Open Championship Program
Presented here is a program from the 1968 Open Championship in good condition. Gary Player left his signature on the cover in black marker. The cover shows some wear though it hardly detracts from the presentation. Player claimed his second Claret Jug while Nicklaus tied for second place at the tournament. Player was a member of the Big Three, along with Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The Big Three are credited for bringing the sport to the height of popularity during the early television era.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
