Tom Watson Signed 1983 Open Championship at Royal Birkdale Program
Tom Watson successfully defended his Open Championship title in 1983, marking his eighth and final Major victory. Watson was able to stave off Hale Irwin and Andy Bean, claiming the Claret Jug by one stroke. Watson appears on the cover of this program, having won the previous year's contest, and leaves his signature here in bold black marker. The program is in excellent condition, the slightest bit of wear is evident at the edges.
James Spence Authentication (JSA) has reviewed the signature and their auction letter of authenticity will come with this lot.
