R. Simpson Carnoustie Perfect Balance Putter - Pat. App. for No. 21307 - Shaft Stamp
Robert Simpson is one of the greatest club makers of all time. He arrived in Carnoustie in 1883 to take up the position of professional at the Dalhousie Golf Club, and, as well as attending to the needs of the members, was encouraged by the Club to further his activity in club making. This decision unleashed the talents of the most prolific, inventive, and artistic club maker known. His design and manufacturing in his Carnoustie workshop changed the face of club making for all time. Presented here is the Perfect Balance putter by Simpson in excellent condition. It measures 39" to the heel.
